DELYAN PEEVSKI, CHAIRMAN OF MRF: RADEV PROVED THAT HE IS NOT WORTHY OF REPRESENTING THE INTERESTS OF THE BULGARIAN PEOPLE IN NATO

Rumen Radev's refusal to take responsibility for heading the Bulgarian delegation at the NATO Summit confirms what I have warned about many times—his positions serve foreign, not national Bulgarian interests and are subordinated to dependencies and connections in the East, contrary to Euro-Atlantic values and principles!

With the invented "different views," fleeing abroad when NATO convenes in Sofia, and other similar examples, Radev is playing a double, hypocritical game.

Radev consistently and demonstrably tries to divert Bulgaria from its commitments and destabilize it, pushing Russian influence and propaganda at this critical moment for the security of Europe and the world.

The consistent position of the Euro-Atlantic majority in the country's previous parliaments in support of Ukraine, against Russia's unprovoked military aggression, and Bulgaria's loyalty to the Alliance cannot be compromised in the name of personal interests and political ambitions.

Playing the security card and instilling fear in the people is a downfall for the high institution of a president and an abuse of the people's trust.
